I agree your quest to "define" America is next to impossible--WAY to diverse...should really spend some time with "Okies" or "Rednecks" to round out the experience though. Okay it took me awhile but I read it! I love the writing and the description of the wedding. I may steal portions for my scrapbook. Yes, it was a very weird week for me. I wasn't really myself with so much going on. It's a shame we didn't have more time off otherwise we probably could have toured down south a little more and not been stuck in boring SJ.
